What’s Next? 

·        The Planning Commission public hearing on Project Indiana will be virtual. The meeting is scheduled for April 20, 2021 at 6:15 p.m. 

Members of the public may watch the meeting on channels 8 and 880 or on the live stream at arvada.org/live-stream. 


·        The City Council public hearing is planned for June 7, 2021.

Action Items

 

1.     Sign up to provide comment during the Planning Commission Meeting on April 20 by registering via this link https://zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_qAIzPd9GQ_mBGCsEExpqnQ

 

2.     Please donate to Protect Maple Valley Park We have hired several traffic and environmental experts to assist us so we need donations to help cover costs. If you donate $25 or more you will receive a Protect   Maple Valley Park t-shirt or a No Amazon yard sign while quantities last.  Please display the yard sign and/or wearing your t-shirt to the upcoming meetings or when out and about to raise awareness.

 

 

3.     Sign and encourage others to sign the petition.

·  ACE Hardware @ 64th & McIntyre on Saturdays and Sundays through April

·  UPS Store @ 64th & Ward on Saturdays and Sundays through April 18

 

4.     Keep contacting the Arvada City Council with your concerns about:

·       The development's incompatibility with the community

·       Traffic congestion and concerns on all the surrounding streets

·       Light, noise, air and visual pollution so close to open space and homes

·       Negative impact on property values, quality of life

 You Are Invited to the Annual Ralston Creek Trail Clean-Up

 

Show some love to the trail on Saturday, April 17, from 9-11 AM, at our annual Earth Day-Ralston Creek Trail Clean-Up event. 

 

Bring work gloves, if you have them, and your own water bottles and coffee cups.  We’ll provide trash bags, disposable gloves, hand sanitizer, snacks, water in coolers and coffee.  Meet on the Ralston Creek Trail next to the Eldridge Street overpass or on the trail next to the Indiana Street overpass.
