Hi All!  We are moving along with the fence this week and it is looking great!   Please see attached photos.   Please remember if you live adjacent to the fence being replaced to be mindful of pets as well as to clean up, weed, etc along the fence inside your yard so that the contractors can easily access the fence area.  Homeowners along the fence are responsible for painting/staining the interior side of the fence (side facing their yard) if they choose. Keeping you "posted" on all. 😉  Sincerely, Kristen

Thank you!  Please let this serve as a reminder if you have not submitted payment. The fence assessment is due by July 25th, 2023.   Please remit by check to: Maple Valley Homeowner's Association P.O. Box 1334 Arvada, CO 80001 or pay electronically at our website: Maple Valley HOA website Let's remember that the fence is another marker of pride in our neighborhood! These first impressions matter and make Maple Valley shine above other communities thus keeping our neighborhood in demand and our property values up! Greetings neighbors, Quick update on the Main Entrance Landscaping Project... First, I wanted to thank the neighbors that came out to help on the Main Entrance project the last couple times. Shout out to Maple Valley neighbors Jim Malley, Meg McCarthy, Bill Prymak, Tina Gaines and some RVC folks who helped during the trail event for getting this started! We got a lot of weeds out, trash picked up, some things trimmed and the south planter done but still need to do the north planter and REALLY need some help to finish trimming up bushes and clean up along the fence in preparation for the replacement. I'm sending out a "Call for Gardeners" who can put in a few hours THIS WEEK to help us wrap up this project before everything leafs out totally. If you can help please email and RSVP which date and time works for you and we will be in touch! There's a morning shift and an end of day after work shift so hoping more neighbors can participate! Will need folks to bring hand tools, shovels, rakes, trimmers and maybe a battery weed wacker (call Gina to coordinate). I will bring trash bags and materials, flowers for the other planter. Thanks neighbors - pictures attached of the progress so far... Please ring me up if you have questions! Thanks, Gina Hallisey 303-726-6111 Dates for Main Entrance Landscaping: WED, MAY 17TH FROM 4-7PM SAT, MAY 20TH FROM 8-11AM

Update on the Main Entrance Cleanup and Refresh plan... Last Saturday at the Park & Trail Cleanup a few MV neighbors plus a few RVC folks helped clean up the weeds and trash along Indiana and in the planters at the MV main entrance (see photo). Thanks to MV neighbors and our RVC friends Phil Lankford and Renee Stark for helping! Randy Moorman, City Councilman also stopped by. We made some good headway but still have some work to do and the fun part of planting to add some color to our entrance! If you are able to help us finish and would like to volunteer please contact Gina below! Here's what we have left to do: * Finish trimming some bushes that are dead or overgrown and a bit more weeding around the planters * Remove worn weed block and dig up the weeds still left (we didn't get all of them but there's not too much left) * Replace weed block as needed in both planters * Plant the perennials in both planters (got some great colorful plants that will alternate blooming from spring to fall) * Finish with spreading the mulch in both planters and admire our work! * Trim back anything close to fence in preparation for the fence replacement (if time and enough hands) All volunteers will receive a green Protect Maple Valley t-shirt as a thank you for helping. Feel free to ring me up if you have questions or you can text me also at 303-726-6111 if you are joining us and to let me know your t-shirt size. protectmaplevalleypark@gmail.com
